• Character Rerailment: For pretty much the whole harem, due to being able to focus on their situations that don't involve the now nonexistent Love Dodecahedron. Saito for the same reasons (plus having eight years' worth of character development).
• Fan Nickname: Saibro for the Vice-Captain, after the readers' most common ideas as to his identity, Saito and Brock. One of the two is correct.
• I Knew It!: Many characters are introduced into the fic ambiguously and those who know their Zero often guessed their identities and reasons for being there far in advance.
• Too Bleak, Stopped Caring: When the second arc took a morbid turn, it was restructured and its ending sped up because the creator noted this in the readers' reactions.
