There’s also the overarching mystery of Maryrose, who the siblings learn more about every book. It’s important to read the books in chronological order, or else you’ll be confused and spoil things for yourself.
• Wangst: In Beauty Queen, Abby purposefully destroys Penny's painting. A jerk move, but the way she keeps going on and on about it like she's committed some mortal sin is ridiculous.
