• Awesome Art: The 1.5 update showed off the beginnings of an animation overhaul, giving Bamb a flashy new redesign and adding in Opposition X. Both characters run at a smooth 60 FPS (for reference, most FNF characters are animated at 24 FPS) and are positively gorgeous to watch in action.
• Awesome Music:
  • The remake of "Ether" included in the 1.5 update is about as catchy as one can expect from an AadstaPinwheel song with the energy of an upbeat club track one would hear at a rave party.
  • "Incinerate" by LongestSoloEver is a downright manic spamtrack that uses the rapidity to its advantage, turning a normally-despised genre of song into a badass death metal bop and achieving the intensity other spamtracks have only dreamed of.
  • Both "Opposition" and its remake are considered to be an example of a spamtrack done right, both because of the instrumental, and the way Expunged's vocals sound.
  • "Automation" is a very upbeat song with many changes in the tempo as the song progresses. Helped by Bumbo's vocals.
• Shocking Moments: Pretty much nobody would've ever predicted that LongestSoloEver, a professional metal composer with high music standards that has never once even mentioned Dave and Bambi before, would be creating a song for Strident Crisis, of all mods, and yet here we are today with "Incinerate". Not only that, but the song itself even retains the signature hyperspam the mod is known for while still being an absolute banger.
