YMMV / Veronica Mars S 02 E 13 Aint No Magic Mountain High Enough

• Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: Jackie wasn't particularly popular when introduced, but this episode won a lot of people over to her. The sheer plummet involved in her Break the Haughty treatment (having almost the entire school turn on her, and particularly the way she's treated at the dunk tank) and the steel she shows in dealing with it (refusing to pull out of the fair or leave the tank, snarking back at people like Madison with "'Lurking'? You mean 'Standing while black'?") shows a lot of depth of character that wasn't that evident when she was introduced.
