YMMV / Vagrant Holiday

• Epileptic Trees: A common belief about Vagrant Holiday is that he is former Youtuber "Surveillance Camera Man", due to both having the similar voice, personality, as well as their shtick of recording everything they see. This has never been confirmed and Vagrant's never commented on it, but it's a common speculation that has continued among viewers. The fact both Vagrant and SCM both have the similar traits has lead to people connecting the two, especially considering that a few while after SCM stopped uploading, Vagrant began his channel.
  • Vagrant makes a rather overt reference to Surveillance Camera Man in the Forbidden Island episode. Upon seeing a decommissioned security camera, our hero drops the famous one liner from the series. A likely wink-and-a-nod to the dot-connectors in his audience.
  Vagrant: Just taking a video? I doubt that.
  • Uploads tend to go down only to be reuploaded days later, leading to fans to theorize that Vagrant does this so that the algorithm doesn't make his videos trend, so he can stay a small channel.
• Do Not Do This Cool Thing: Obviously doing what Vagrant does is super not recommended and is incredibly dangerous and could land you in jail or worse...but Vagrant makes it look borderline easy and, as he described it, "Fun".
• Nightmare Fuel:
  • While the channel itself doesn't have this, the fact certain locations in Europe are shown to be in urban decay settings, it comes off as very apocalyptic at best. Vagrant Holiday II is a good example of this as seen in the Polish locations...
  • The second half of "III - Third Time's Not the Charm..." has Vagrant threatened by drug dealers and be sucker punched. While he only has his glasses broken, it never the less paints a disturbing picture on what else could have happened.
  • The ending of the unlisted CHAZ Video, where Vagrant is being hounded by two angry citizens who accuse him of "hounding on a black man" and being threatened into leaving the community. Unlike other times where he'd just laugh or snark, Vagrant is eerily silent, and he stays that way for the rest of the video.
  • The borderline very unsafe nature of "V - Train Hopping", especially when Vagrant makes it clear he's never done train hopping before.
