• Fan Nickname:
  • Jd, the main protagonist, was immediately referred to by players as either "Jade" or "Jude".
  • "McDamage quickly became a popular nickname for MLcdDMGx the Durant.

• Funny Moments:
  • The PRINT function in the Pokédex, while functional, had very glitchy text both on screen and on the printed entry. Said prints featured lowercase names and categories, unreadable numbers, and when the Pokémon in question was registered, a completely gibberish description.
  • Frillish was named "Man", to the amusement of chat who proceeded to spam "man" in any situation seemingly worthy of woe, and to pick up on amusing resulting sentences such as "It doesn't affect Man!" or "Man, come back".
    • This also led to two images being created showing Frillish◊ and Jellicent◊ looking at the sea melancholically with the caption "MAN", parodying this meme.
  • Early during Day 3, players encountered a Game-Breaking Bug that caused the game to crash upon talking to Juniper in Nuvema Town. The Streamer reloaded a previous savestate, instructing the chat to avoid talking to her again until he fixed the issue. Only two minutes later, the chat was back in the lab and talked to Juniper again, causing another crash.

• Memetic Mutation: DenniSect ^Explanation A portmanteau of "Dennis", a nickname for Ghetsis based on a popular mondegreen of his theme song, and "Genesect"; it was used to refer to the final boss of the game, aka the titular Genesis Project, being a resuscitated Ghetsis merged with Genesect's body.

• Play-Along Meme: One of the contestants of the Pokémon World Tournament was a mysterious man calling himself "Vio". In spite of his identity being made very obvious by his purple color-scheme, his team being made up of Ice-types, and "Vio" literally being the Japanese name of Zinzolin, the chat still pretended to have no idea who he really was, making such outlandish guesses as Volo, Pryce, Victini, all three Shadow Triad members in a trenchcoat, or the Trevenant from Pokémon HarvestCraft.
