- One-Scene Wonder: Silas Carson as Akhenaten. He is only there for one scene in the first episode, but that is all he needs to leave an impression.
- So Bad, It's Good: With its cheesy acting, throwing historical accuracy to the wind, the fact it feels like a poor man's Game of Thrones set in Ancient Egypt, and the ridiculous costumes, you can't help but love it.
- What the Hell, Costuming Department?: Whilst some of the costumes were clearly inspired by real items found in King Tut's tomb and in reliefs, paintings, and statues, some costume choices are down right bizarre. The biggest one being the strange boots that Tut and some other characters wear instead of wearing sandals like any noble Egyptian in this period would.
