- Skidmark also has a notable fanbase due to the TV series giving him a much more likable personality, which explains why he went from being Out of Focus during the first season to arguably getting some of the most focus of any of the characters.
- Just Here for Godzilla: A studio example; a lot of the interest in Turbo F.A.S.T. generates from Motorcity fans, since the former runs off a similar concept, animation style and even production team as the latter.
- Surprisingly Improved Sequel: Many people find Turbo F.A.S.T. to be a huge improvement over the movie, with the snail characters being fleshed out (though at the expense of the human characters from the movie) and the episodes having much more creative scenarios, not to mention an art production to die for.
