- Older Than They Think: While it later became fully incorporated into the mature Arthurian Legend with Tristan becoming a knight of Arthur's Round Table, this story actually predates many of the latter's familiar elements and possibly inspired the romance of Lancelot and Guinevere, if not developing at the same time.
