• Angst? What Angst?: Bumblebee doesn't seem too torn up about the fact that Grimlock was once again brainwashed and that he's being forced to fight his friend. Grimlock himself is also strangely ambivalent about the whole thing once the day is saved.
• So Okay, It's Average: Much like the show it's based on, Expedition 's reception was mixed to positive overall, with most reviewers complimenting it on being a decent open world game with satisfying combat, but also criticizing it's lack of depth, cheap graphics and lack of attention to detail. General consensus seems to be that it's an alright game for kids, but doesn't have much to offer for older fans.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character:
  • Seeing the variety of abilities the Terrans have they would have made for pretty good and arguably should have been the protagonists. Especially since the show the game is based on revloves around them. Instead, the Terrans are Demoted to Extra for the entirety of the game's story, with their mentor Bumblebee being given the protagonist role instead.
  • In a similar manner Mo and Robbie, the human siblings of the Terrans and themselves pretty important characters in the show, only appear in one cutscene and seemingly vanish into the ether afterwards. Despite the fact it was their cybersleeve powers that defeated Mandroid the last time. You'd think they'd be taking a more active role in hunting him down.
