YMMV / Touhou – ZUN's Music Collection

Go To

  • Epileptic Trees: Fans have run wild with theories about the plot of Dolls in Pseudo Paradise, such as its placement in the timeline or the identity of the killer (common theories are that she's either Flandre or Alice).
  • Fan Nickname: マエリベリー・ハーン has no official romanization. While ハーン being "Hearn" is implied due to ZUN drawing a connection between this character, Yukari Yakumo and Lafcadio Hearn/Koizumi Yakumo, "Maribel" is complete speculation by fans, and even ZUN himself admitted to having no idea how to romanize マエリベリー when asked at Anime Weekend Atlanta 2013.
  • Fanon Discontinuity: Due to its lack of direct connection to the rest of the series, along with the fact its events have never been brought up again, several fans treat the plot of Dolls in Pseudo Paradise as non-canon and insist that it simply doesn't fit within the Touhou universe.
  • Signature Song:
    • "Reincarnation", an arrangement of Mima's theme of the same namenote  from Touhou Yumejikuu ~ Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream, is the most well known track in Dolls in Pseudo Paradise, thanks to the popularity of both the original theme and of Mima herself.
    • "Kid's Festival ~ Innocent Treasures" is the most iconic track from Changeability of Strange Dream, due to being ZUN's own theme.
