• Harsher in Hindsight: The film ends with Paige not regaining her memories but still giving a relationship with Leo a chance and he was willing to wait for her this whole time, with the implication they'll be able to start over. In real life, the couple Paige and Leo are based upon ended up getting divorced in 2018 and it's alleged the husband had an affair.
• The Woobie: Leo gets into a car accident that caused his wife to suffer amnesia, said wife doesn't love him anymore because she's forgotten about him, and he's at risk of losing her to her previous fiancé because she still remembers loving him.
