YMMV / The Tom and Jerry Comedy Show

• Broken Base: Some people consider it a step up from Hanna-Barbera's T&J series due to restoring the traditional cat-and-mouse formula but others consider it even worse stating that the return to form doesn't make up for the poorer animation, music, sound effects, voice acting (not one of Frank Welker's better roles) and the one-sided rivalry aspect (as in Jerry wins nearly every episode) from the infamous Gene Deitch era returning. Some consider it So Okay, It's Average.
• Designated Hero: In "Pied Piper Puss", we're supposed to root for Jerry and Nibbles, as they're robbing a cheese store; instead of Tom, who is trying to help the store owner by stopping them. "The Puppy Sitter" has Tom looking after Tyke for Spike, who goes on a fishing trip with their master. Jerry makes it harder for Tom, just for kicks, and ends up winning over Tom.
• So Bad, It's Good: There are so many problems with the show like the animation, music, sound effects and the incredibly weak voice acting that can make the episode unintentionally funny.
• So Okay, It's Average: A somewhat common consensus on the show. Some people see that the cat-and-mouse formula wasn't executed as well as it could've been, but it was decent. And despite the qualities mentioned above, the show is at least still watchable.
