  • Alternate Character Interpretation: Did Ralph kill Tracee just because she insulted him? Or because he suspected she was cheating on him with Tony? Or did he do it to spite Tony for not having promoted him to captain? Also, we learn later in season four that Ralph may have been sexually abused as a child by his mother. Did Ralph, like Tony, have an Oedipus Complex that was manifesting in his relationship with Tracee? Did her hitting Ralph and taunting his masculinity trigger an especially painful memory of Ralph's mother that made him snap?
  • Moral Event Horizon: Ralph beats Tracee (who was pregnant with his child) to death in a fit of rage.
