YMMV / The Simpsons S31 E4 "Treehouse of Horror XXX"

• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Kang defeating Burns' army by suddenly pulling the Infinity Gauntlet out of complete nowhere and snapping them away. On top of having little to do with the movie the segment is spoofing, absolutely nobody questions its presence in the plot nor why Kang has it the first place and and it never shows up again.
• Genius Bonus: Prof. Farnsworth among the possible candidates that Homer could use as a replacement body. In Heaven Can Wait (1978) (and the film that it's a remake of, Here Comes Mr. Jordan), Joe Pendleton (the character that Homer is spoofing in this segment) takes over the body of a businessman surnamed Farnsworth.
• Harsher in Hindsight: The dead body of Uter wearing glasses can be seen in an establishing shot of the Over Under in Danger Things. It was a reference to Barb from the source material, but became an unfortunate coincidence with voice actor Russi Taylor's death in July 2019, about 3 months before the episode.
• Nightmare Fuel: The ending to "Heaven Swipes Right" combines this with Fridge Horror. Homer settles on Moe's body, either taking advantage of his suicidal tendencies or incentivising him to off himself to get close to Marge. Which he does, by inhabiting Maggie's body — which raises many horrific implications (especially considering Moe's usual dynamic with her).
