YMMV / The Simpsons S 10 E 16 Make Room For Lisa

• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: After selling out Lisa's room, Homer makes her move in with Bart, which has a lot of potential as a Roommate Drama story and is even what the episode is named after. This ends up getting almost no focus in the story, with the rest of it being a Homer/Lisa plot.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: The sequence where Lisa sees herself from Homer's perspective makes out that Lisa is hypercritical of Homer who "takes her to a lot of places he hates" just to be with her. However, it's hard to feel sorry for him during said sequence, considering that at the beginning of the episode he loudly and obnoxiously whined about every place Lisa wanted to go. Also, considering that he turned her bedroom into a generator for a cell phone tower, made her share a room with Bart, and refused to leave her alone while she was trying to do her homework, causing her to be under both mental and physical stress, she had every reason to angry at him. The episode ends without these problems being resolved.
