• Executive Meddling: Rachael originally wasn't on the roster of characters selected for this arena, that was until series creator Giganoto asked if Nighthawk could add her to his team. He refused but Penny Chamber was willing to add her and a swap was made, adding Rachael to her team. Due to how she was included in the arena and being one of Giganoto's favorite characters raises the question of whether or not she had actually earned her win.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Spongebob Squarepants, who having only made one other appearance prior where he was one of the first to die and then later ends up as Loona's boyfriend, one would think that he would be given more focus in this episode. Unfortunately he spends the entire first chapter stuck as a block of ice, then in the second chapter gets one whole scene where he tries to give directions to Fluttershy and Rarity and then abruptly dies at the end of the chapter.
