• Harsher in Hindsight:
  • Belos telling Lilith that Sparda killed all the Titans across the world of the Boiling Isles becomes this when "Edge of the World" reveals that King himself is a Titan, and the Last of His Kind. What's more, it is indicated that the Collector was responsible for their extinction in canon, implying they are not as malicious as made out.
  • Likewise, The Reveal that Sparda helped seal away the Collector becomes this when the series finale reveals that the Collector was in fact sealed away by the Titans unknowingly blaming their siblings actions on them instead, and they was innocent of the whole thing.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Eda being an aunt to Nero, becomes this given the events of Devil May Cry 5 involve him losing an arm and gaining a new Devil Trigger. By the end of Season 2 of The Owl House, Eda herself gained her Harpy form and lost an arm in that order, giving her a few more things in common with her nephew.
  • Similarly, in the series finale Luz gains a Super Form from the Titan that gives her a more demonic appearance and vastly more powerful magic, just like her honorary cousin gains his new Devil Trigger at the climax of Devil May Cry 5.
