- Squick: Vesputo tells Torina, a fifteen-year-old-girl, that he has loved her since she was twelve. Torina justifies this to herself because Vesputo is "not yet thirty". Interpreted generously, this means that a twenty-five-year-old Vesputo had eyes for a twelve-year-old girl.
