• Awesome Animation: Like Fantasy Kaleidoscope, the series features very pretty and on model animation despite not having as high of a budget as mainstream anime series.
• Awesome Music: As expected of a fanime for the Touhou series, the soundtrack is gorgeous with the group Yonder Voice providing excellent remixes and covers.
• Fandom-Enraging Misconception: This series is not official. Do not say that it is!
• Funny Moments: At the end of both the first and second episodes, we are treated to Reimu complaining about not appearing and Marisa having to remind her that they're not the focus of the series. Especially amusing for the first episode because both Reimu and Marisa (or rather two women resembling/cosplaying them) can be seen walking on the same street as Renko and Maribel.
• I Knew It!: Many Japanese and foreign fans had considered Jun Fukuyama for a voice actor for Rinnosuke Morichika, due to his knack on previously voicing nerdy or intelligent characters. It turns out that he ended up voicing him in episode 3.
