• Alternate Character Interpretation: In the second illustration of "Woolly Bear", Toby is glaring while Thomas chews Percy out. However, it’s unknown whom his ire is directed at. Naturally, it could be because Thomas is harassing Percy. Another possibility is that he’s just as annoyed at Percy as Thomas. There’s a very subtle subtext at the beginning of the story that Percy has been repeatedly late with his jobs because he’s preoccupied with teasing Thomas over the ghost prank. This could be why Toby is happy to laugh at Percy over getting covered in hay.
