YMMV / The President's Analyst

  • Ear Worm: Lalo Schifrin's entire score, but especially that "Joy to the world" song with the female singers (officially called "Look Up") that plays when Schaefer has his Good Times Montage after accepting the job as the President's analyst.
  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Libya as the country that the President told Dr. Schaefer he was worried about seemed weirdly random and funny in 1967. After Muammar Gaddafi took over in 1969, and particularly with his provocations against the US in The '80s, the President's concern turned out to be very justified.
  • Paranoia Fuel
  • Retroactive Recognition:
    • Almost a decade before his breakout role as Schneider on One Day at a Time, Pat Harrington Jr appears here playing the small-but-pivotal part of Arlington Hewes.
    • Arte Johnson (pre-Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In) plays an FBR agent.
    • William Daniels (St. Elsewhere) plays "typical American" Winn Quantrill.
