• Paranoia Fuel: Everyone using Company utilities is constantly monitored and anything they say can and does get mined for saleable value, something that Murderbot says everyone does and no one gets told about. Murderbot itself is part of this monitoring and constantly listens in on conversations that aren't really meant to include it. In All Systems Red as soon as the Preservation humans start to say something the Company wouldn't like, it makes sure this won't get reported, but it does maintain this snooping throughout the series. The Preservation humans know about this habit and just casually assume it's listening all the time, as if even on Preservation privacy is not an option.
