• Harsher in Hindsight: Gonzo breaks down when he realizes he’ll have to leave his friends. He ultimately stays, but then it becomes this trope when you see that Dave Goelz is the only surviving member of the Muppet Show cast to remain in the franchise, due to Frank Oz's retirement, Steve Whitmire's firing and everyone else having died. So, basically Gonzo’s friends left him instead of the other way around.
