• Best Known for the Fanservice: Cave of the Silken Web contains probably the most amount of female skin you can see in any adaptation of Journey to the West.
• Special Effects Failure: While groundbreaking at the time, the movies' SFX didn't age too well, to say the least. The fourth film have some particularly atrocious-looking transition effects where the background is obviously projected on a screen in the back of the studios.
