YMMV / The Loud House S 2 E 19 Future Tense Lynner Takes All

Go To

"Future Tense"

  • Alternative Character Interpretation: When the kids turn down doing stuff they would have traditionally enjoyed like ice cream or the movies in favor of becoming more "well rounded", did they actually mean it? Or where they assuming that the rug would get pulled out from under them like the elder Louds had done previously in the episode? Or was it an act of spite from the kids, having decided that, if they can't do what they enjoy, then neither can their parents and they were just using the "well rounded" thing as their excuse?
  • They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: It would've been nice if the Yates family actually moved into Bobby and Ronnie Anne's old house instead of a house the previously belonged to a family with the last name "Crowley".

"Lynn-er Takes All"

  • Broken Base: After the poorly-received "No Such Luck", which also focused on Lynn, fans have remained divided on whether this episode took any real steps to address the problems so many fans had with the aforementioned episode. Some felt this episode did little to address Lynn's poor sportsmanship, while others praised it for the fact that Lynn actually begins to understand why her overly competitive nature rubs her siblings the wrong way. Whatever the case, most fans can at least agree it was better than "No Such Luck".
