YMMV / The Lost World Jurassic Park (Sega Genesis)

• No Problem with Licensed Games: In stark contrast to the PSX/Saturn game which was buggy, overly difficult and had poor controls (and arguably over-ambitious considering all that plus the fact that it had five playable characters, three of which were dinosaurs) this game isn't well-remembered (being one of the last games for its console) but has a cult fanbase. It keeps things simple with just a nameless hunter as the player character and the controls work adequately. It can be difficult but not aggravatingly so, and the player often has ample opportunity to clear all threats on the screen before they become overwhelming. It has little to do with the plot of the movie, but uses its assets well and is clearly an accomplished late-stage Genesis game (particularly regarding the creative 3D stages), despite some slowdown issues. To top it all off, it also features a catchy and memorable soundtrack.
