- Moral Event Horizon: While Snape is married to Lily in the new reality, he's shown planning to drug her with the Draught of Perfect Subservience, a new potion he has created that would allow him to control others more completely than most existing methods. For all that he apparently loved Lily in the prime reality and turned against Voldemort in her memory, when Snape had a chance at a genuine relationship with her he chooses to resort to brainwashing to keep her with him, showing that ultimately he is more obsessed with the idea of having Lily to himself than in love with her as a person.
