• Sympathy for the Devil: Xax was raised, hypnotized and manipulated into being what he was. He honestly believed he was going to save Kale; he'd just been given an ends justify the means mindset. Will lampshades it in the last episode, speaking to Kalem;
  Kalem: You are not to blame (for Aruna's death).
  Will: Maybe I'm not. Maybe it's you and Kreel, using Xax and me as your puppets.
