• Adaptation Displacement: While the fact this animation is based on KOF is a common knowledge (after all, it's right there on the title), there're a surprising number of people who don't know it's based on the Maximum Impact sub-series and not the main series. This is because lots of SNK fan media like to borrow scenes from Another Day without revealing its source, as it still has many story beats compatible to the main KOF games. Thus, a common experience of watching Another Day is to get baffled by the strange presence of Maximum Impact-exclusive characters they don't recognize.
