• Designated Heroes: Chet and Bunny are the Official Couple leading the defense against Kevin's attack; they're also the ringleaders who directed their fellow students to tease and torment him beyond all endurance in the first place. Oh, and Chet very willingly has sex with Mrs. Cello and puts off Bunny's inquiries about their future together after having sex with her in Mrs. Cello's office.
• The Woobie: Henry, the janitor. Though he isn't without flaws, he is by far the nicest guy in the movie and seems to have a speaking problem, yet he gets abused and picked on by almost everyone because of his pervert behavior (which really all the other characters share), not to say he gets a very bad beaten from Chet and was most likely killed because of that. He also ends up traumatized by Kevin's murders and is actually blamed as the killer at first.
  • Kevin, who is just a nice and innocent teacher who tries to get ahead on life despite his fragile mental and emotional state, and in returns gets abused, humiliated and even harassed at one point. Even his own mother is not kind with him. It's not surprise he turns into a killer once he uses the invisible serum, and he remains as the most sympathetic character despite his crimes.
