YMMV / The Hot Chick

  • Acceptable Targets: For a movie whose theme is supposed to be tolerance, there sure are a lot here.
    • WASPs (Jessica's family, especially her parents)
    • Koreans (They're depicted as Asian and Nerdy.)
    • Jocks
    • Practitioners of "cult" religions (Voodoo and Rastafarianism in particular)
    • Catholics (There's one really tasteless and gratuitous molestation joke.)
    • Gays
  • Fan Disservice: Anytime Rob Schneider is shown wearing women's clothing
  • Fridge Horror: The sign at the stripclub that says "No Strangling the Dancers". How often did that have to happen before somebody decided there needed to be a sign put up?
  • Les Yay: A sort-of example. While in Clive's body, Jessica helps April get back at a backstabbing jerk by making him jealous...by having Jessica and April kiss. After the jerk storms off, Jessica and April happily celebrate how good they got him, but then April kisses Jessica-in-Clive's-body again. Jessica gently reminds April that the jerk is gone so they don't have to keep up the prank, but April confesses that she loves Jessica-in-Clive's-body. Jessica isn't a lesbian, but she manages to let April down gently by explaining that April is a wonderful person who doesn't need Jessica, or Clive's body, or anyone else to feel better about herself.
    • Also, Clive in Jessica's body was hitting on a girl at a strip club.
  • Squick: The Film's premise is pretty much this, centered around a teenage girl in the body of a grown man and vice-versa
    • Jessica waking up in Clive's body while still wearing all her clothes, including underwear
    • Jessica's mother tries to seduce her at one point.
    • Jessica attempting to kiss Billy while in Clive's body
    • Clive preforming a stripper dance while in Jessica's body, and then turning back into himself while wearing stripper clothes
