- Hilarious in Hindsight: Captain Hilary Duff.
- Fridge Logic: If the crew room was where the view from the window suggested it was, it would have to have been sitting on top of the railway line across the road from the airport.
- Freud Was Right: The audience laughs an awful lot when Captain Duff (who thinks he's a clown) says, "Got to go warm up jeremy joystick"
- Large Ham: During his guest spot as the Batman-style villain Vincent Stoat in "Dunk," Peter Blythe serves up massive quantities of gleeful ham, complete with Evil Laugh.
- Too Good to Last: So much so, that Richard of Richard and Judy got down on his knees live on the air and begged Alan Cumming to do more episodes.
