• Catharsis Factor: After several episodes of Marlize smugly manipulating the team, they finally pull the rug out from under her by having "DeVoe" publicly reveal he's still alive, and there's not a damn thing she can do about it without revealing she knows way more than she should. As put in The Sting, "What was I supposed to do, bust him for cheating better than me?"
• Moral Event Horizon: If DeVoe didn't cross it when he stole Dominic's body and blamed Barry for his own murder, he certainly crosses it when he uses the Weeper's tears as a date rape drug on his wife, cementing what the audience already suspected for months: he only sees her as a tool and ultimately cares only for himself.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: They had the opportunity to show as many meta-human prisoners in the meta-wing. From Kyle Nimbus to the hundreds of Earth-2 metas, right down to Clive Yorkin. Barry lampshades this and infers DeVoe only has interest in the bus metas.
• The Woobie: Becky was already this in her first appearance. The fact that her body gets hijacked by DeVoe after she turns a new leaf and saves Barry makes her even more of one.
