It's deliberately sapient and malevolent—its behavior homages Billy from When a Stranger Calls—but despite its threatening behavior the most we get to uncovering its goals is a dead body and a series of pods containing people from the party. What it wants with these people is never explained. The worst thing is it's not quite clear if it's dead by the end...
• Paranoia Fuel: The story plays on the idea of the The Calls Are Coming from Inside the House and builds from there. Notable examples is the strange entity somehow knowing about Erin's sex life, and the fact it could still be out there in the end.
