• Diagnosed by the Audience: Fan speculation is that Peter is either a high-functioning Autistic or Borderline Autistic (a.k.a. Asperger's Syndrome), as he is quite brilliant when it comes to technical matters (e.g. A.I.s) or political affairs but has little to no interest in or understanding of social interactions, to the point that he built an AI (Query) with the sole purpose of advising him on how to interact with people. He also seems to have a limited capacity for empathetic displays or reactions, strengthening this theory.
