• Director Displacement: The film was directed by Ron Howard but you would think that Vince Vaughn was the driving force of the film (seeing how it looks like a lot of Vaughn's other films).
• Overshadowed by Controversy: The film is better known for widespread condemnation by gay rights activist groups for featuring the "Electric cars are gay" line as the introduction for the trailer.
