People who have fallen through thin ice or swim in frigid waters is a frighteningly real possibility. Frigid waters shock and leave victims hopeless. Even if you do make it out, you still need to get warm or succumb to hypothermia.
- The Woobie: Arguably, all the survivalists (sans David and Alain) could be classified as this. They were anticipating a two-week long training session with their role model. However, when one of them dies from an accident, it ultimately becomes a fight for survival.
