YMMV / The Debt (1999)

• Breakthrough Hit: While Krauze had been directing movies since 1976, it was The Debt that made him a household name among Polish moviegoers as well as brought him into the attention of international audiences.
• Star-Making Role: For Andrzej Chyra playing Gerard and, to a lesser extent, Cezary Kosiński (Tadeusz) as both of them went on to star in a number of more or less succesful cinematic features. Robert Gonera (Adam) also had a rather fruitful career ahead of him thanks to his role in The Debt, if mostly limited to television.
