- Harsher in Hindsight: It was stated that Rainbow Dash was invited to Applejack's house for some pie. "Secrets and Pies" comes around, and it turns out that Rainbow hates pies.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Scootaloo suggests that Rainbow Dash try swimming if she wants to try anything close to flying. Cue "Surf And/Or Turf" in Season 8, and Scoots is swimming and comparing it to flying, enjoying herself.
- Rainbow's parents are Stormcloud and Fire Fly and are strict in the fanfic, but they are actually Bow Hot Hoof and Windy Whistles and are quite the opposite (overly supportive).
