Later on, when Cheyenne does manage to inform him of Adrian's history of obsessive behavior, she ends up being taken as a hostage by a now deranged Adrian who gags and ties her to her old childhood carousel to lure Nick into the attic. Thankfully, he manages to knock her out and save Cheyenne.
