• Tear Jerker:
  • The end of Nathan the Gourmand's sidequest has him pass away after one last drink, with his partner Harry becoming very sad over it. It takes another sidequest to help Harry.
  • The entire end of Chapter 5 and start of Chapter 6, as Yuu confronts her father, who tried to let her kill him in order to become a hero, only for Arthur the spider to restore the Demon King's power and evil nature. This results in Yuu almost dying, with Flora frantically trying to help her, and Yuu descending into her own inner darkness so she can overcome her trauma.
