• Fan-Preferred Couple: Most of the fandom would like to see Thony and Arman leave their respective spouses and hook up with each other.
• Jerkass Woobie: Joe Fabroa, the donor who reneged on donating his bone marrow and thus made life Hell for Thony and Luca. While he is initially unrepentant about how he screwed Thony and Luca over, getting beaten up and kidnapped by Arman and his goons breaks him down, and he confesses that he pulled out of the donor program in a fit of anger and bitterness over his wife's death from complications in a supposedly safe and simple surgery, and all it ended up accomplishing for him was alienating him from his daughter.
