- Accidental Aesop: The ending, where Blackstone discovers that the alien message Myshko found stated that Jesus was an alien who hoped to share their technology with the world peacefully, who was killed by Bastard Humans. The aliens left that message hoping that humans would someday find it, having become more ethical. Nixon thought that such a message coming out in The '60s would cause worldwide chaos, and fabricated a Ludd Was Right message. When Blackstone Spots The Thread and is shown the Belief Makes You Stupid message, he agrees with Nixon that it should be covered up in favor of the Ludd Was Right message. He, and Nixon, and the President, are all Bastards. Humans have not changed since Jesus' time.
