• Game-Breaker: The Printer has the unique effect of "printing" the player's active item effect on the card the player is currently holding. A card can be printed on an unlimited amount of effects, and any other instance of that will remember them, not just the specific card the player has at the moment of the active item's activation. Even Death Certificate.
• Growing the Beard: Although it was a quite popular mod from its initial release, Epiphany only really started to become a major mod in the community after the release of its second wave of characters, featuring more enjoyable and in depth mechanics, as well as proof that they were really going to make 17 different Tarnished characters.
• Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: The original version of Tarnished Isaac was the least polished Epiphany character, with an uninteresting gimmick that made him a slightly worse version of Tainted Isaac but with a few easy game-breaking loops. Not to mention, his appearance was unremarkable as just "Tainted Isaac, but slightly more beat up". Wave 6 gave him a total overhaul, turning him into a much more engaging character that's totally distinct from his Tainted form or anyone else and giving him a new sprite.
