YMMV / The Beatles LOVE

Go To

  • Awesome Music: Well, duh. But seriously, the remixing of some of the Fab Four's bigger hits is very cool.
    • The mashup of "Within You Without You" and "Tomorrow Never Knows" was the proof of concept song for the entire project and it only takes one listen to see why it single-handedly got people on board.
    • The beginning of the show starts with a very quiet, dynamic acapella version of "Because" and then launches into sublime chaos with the infamous opening chord of "A Hard Day's Night" giving way to the drum and guitar solos of "The End" with the building atonal cacophony of strings from "A Day in the Life" before settling on the raucous "Get Back".
    • Second mention should go to "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!", which takes the already vaguely psychedelic vaudeville of the original, smashes it into a halftime feel to open up the beat using Billy Preston's wild organ solo from "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" and then adds Paul's hell-ish screams from "Helter Skelter" over the top and burying the laughter from "Piggies" under it.
  • Moment of Awesome: "Within You Without You" features an amazing effect in which the audience is covered by a giant sheet.
  • Tear Jerker:
    • "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", a poetic dance done by a female artist with a paper mâché figure representing the Beatles splitting up.
    • "A Day in the Life" is a simulation of the loss of John Lennon's mother.
    • The very end, which features a clip of John Lennon laughing and saying "This is Johnny Lennon just sayin' good night to ya's all, and God bless ya's." There's just something about it...
