• Awesome Music: "Eternal Flame." May also double as a Tear Jerker given the emotional tone of its lyrics.
• Covered Up: How many people knew "Hazy Shade of Winter" was a Simon & Garfunkel song?
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Michael Steele. While the comments section on any Bangles video is usually a Susanna Hoffs lovefest, you would be surprised by how many say Steele is just as attractive and the one they were drawn to in the band.
• Just Here for Godzilla:
  • The Bangles' version of "Going Down To Liverpool" is best known for the music video featuring Leonard Nimoy as the band's driver.
  • Likewise, "Walk Like an Egyptian" received a major rise in popularity from anime fans when it was used as the first ending theme for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders.
• Suspiciously Similar Song: Prince basically recycled the vocal melody from "1999" for the verses of "Manic Monday", making this a case of Self-Plagiarism. For a fun activity, the next time you hear "Manic Monday", instead of the actual song lyrics try singing I was dreaming when I wrote this/Forgive me if it goes astray... (you know the rest).
• Testosterone Brigade: Let's not beat around the bush here: A lot of male fans of the band are in it thanks to being a quartet of lovely ladies. Summed up by The Saw Doctors' "I'd Love To Touch The Bangles" (or, if you prefer, "...Kiss The Bangles").
