- Critical Dissonance: While critics gave it at least lukewarm praise (including a four star review by Roger Ebert), audiences for the most part hated it (it earned a D-minus grade from Cinemascore). Thanks in large part to the misleading advertising, most seemed to expect a more action-oriented film as opposed to a character study piece.
