- Catharsis Factor: After seeing Ali Rashid be a smug, confident, and ruthless villain who ruined Rongar's life, seeing him completely fall apart and run like the Dirty Coward he is before Rongar throws him to his death is extremely satisfying.
- Les Yay: Rumina, while she was disguised as Sinbad to seduce Maeve in Basra.
- The Scrappy: Bryn, as mentioned below.
- Seasonal Rot: Season 2 is this in spades. Firstly Maeve was replaced by Bryn who has less chemistry and spends much of her time in the background, to be rescued by Sinbad. Sinbad also became Mr. Fanservice with bad boy looks and less clothing. Fan favorite villains like Turok and Rumina were also Put on a Bus. Lastly, Sinbad also took over the talents of his companions, meaning that he became smarter than Firouz and stronger than Doubar, which destroyed the dynamics of the Five-Man Band.
- Special Effects Failure: Even for a low-budget syndicated show, the CGI could look pretty questionable. They have aged even worse than those of Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Many fans took a liking to Mustapha, the Lovable Rogue, who was unceremoniously killed off in the second episode. His friend Rongar was supposed to die along with him, but was promoted to main cast after impressing the producers.
