YMMV / Talking Tom Shorts

Go To

  • Padding: Starting with the My Talking Tom 2 episodes, several old episodes and trailers have been added at the end just to fill out time.
  • Unexpected Character: Hank's appearance at the of the episode "Helping Hand" was a complete surprise, since (at the time) he had yet to appear in any My Talking games, which only seemed to indicate that Hank was going to have a game.
  • Unintentional Period Piece: Some of the earlier episodes are based on minigames and other activities from the first My Talking Tom game, but three episodes of those earlier episodes in particular: "Whack-a-Mouse", "Cans" and "Be Serious!" are based on minigames that were removed from the game in later updates, and unless you have very old versions of My Talking Tom, you will not understand what this episodes are supposed to represent.
    • Similarly, every episode that features the original living room from early versions fells into this. Later episodes replaced the original living room with the one of current versions.
    • One episode called "Bubble for Bubble" was made in order to promote Outfit7's then-new game Mars Pop. Mars Pop lasted very little in the Play Store, as Outfit7 retired it in least than a year.
